VCI Premium (P2)
VCI Premium P2 can be used in rooms where the customer wishes to combine the ‘presence’ sensation with a multipurpose room. The room should have two displays dedicated for the remote participants and one display dedicated for presentation video. The presentation display can either be combined with the VCI control (as shown in the figure below) or a separate display mounted on the wall.
If the presentation display and VCI are combined, the display will typically be placed on the table in front of the person(s) sitting in the room. VCI will make sure that this display automatically shows the presentation whenever the presentation is running, otherwise it shows VCI control. The user might toggle between presentation and VCI control at any time by pressing the PIP (picture in picture) in the upper right hand side of the presentation display. The remote participants will be shown on the big display on the wall.
The VCI Premium P2 setup is ideal in rooms with up to four local participants.
A motion detector is connected (optional) to the codec so that the system will immediately start and give the local participants a welcome message when they enter the room.

VCI Premium (P1)
VCI Premium P1 is to be used for dual display systems where one of the displays is to be used for combined control and presentation.

VCI Medical
VCI Medical makes the impossible in video conferencing possible. It enables medical institutions to send up to four streams at the same time, and display them on four different monitors on every location. A typical scenario can be to send the image from a camera, two MRI screens and a PC with the patient’s journal.
Each VCI control panel can be configured, monitored and upgraded through a central management interface; reducing the management cost and increasing the uptime through early warning in a critical environment.

A former Teleprecense T1 room has been converted to a VCI Premium P1 room with one combined presentation monitor and VCI panel built into the table. When the user enters the room, a motion detector sensor connected to VCI will start up the system and welcome the user with the customer's logo and welcome text.

Another VCI Premium P1 installation with combined presentation displays and VCI control panel (all three monitors on the table). VCI automatically tells the displays to switch to presentation when a presentation is received or started, and switches back to the control interface when the presentation is stopped. Of course, the user can also toggle between the control interface and the presentation at any time by clicking a soft button (represented by a PIP) on the touch screen.
